Centreless Lathe

The WXC series centreless lathes (peeling machine) are special high-efficiency lathes for roughing and finishing the outer circumference of round bars/ pipes and wire rods. It removes decarburized layers, cracks and other crackers on the surface of the bars quickly and with high precision.

The models in the parameter table can be made into common types (Type B, Type C), small (CA) type and numerical control (S) type.

An introduction to composite members

The equipment is composed of two general members: “host machine and transportation devices”.

1. Host machine: host machine consists of lathe bed, spindle, oil-air lubrication system , front clamping and rear extracting systems, front guide and middle-rear guide etc.

2. Transportation devices: Transportation devices comprises loader and unloader.

3. Oil-air lubrication system: Oil-air lubrication system is specially designed for retaining effective lubricating and cooling in the process of spindle’s high speed rotation. It is comprised of pump, oil air distribution block and gas source processing component.

4. Cutting liquid cooling recycling system: Cutting liquid cooling recycling system is composed of cooling water recycling pump, pipelines, nozzles etc. High pressure water pump transports cooled cutting liquid in water tank to nozzle near the cutter head through pipe. It directly sprays onto cutting blade point and chips, whereby the majority of cutting heat is taken away, and drops to discharging hole underneath the cutter head together with chips, and flows back to water tank through pipe to cool down.

5.Chip-conveyor: Chip-conveyor is an outsourced fine quality product. Chips travel through downfall hole at the bottom of cuter head and drop onto the chain plates of the conveyor and are brought out by transmission ,waiting to be collected.

6. Hydraulic pressure system: Hydraulic pressure system consists of pump electric motor, control valve, hydraulic pressure fuel tank, hydraulic pressure pipes and others. It enables to clamp and extract bars through oil cylinder within front (rear) clamping elements.

7. Electric machinery system: Electric system includes power supply and controlling system. It is composed of 1 power distributing cabinet and 1 operating button station. It fulfils the function of electric control for main transmission system, front and rear clamping feeding system, cooling system, hydraulic pressure system, chip-conveyor and transportation devices.
